About these terms
Nourished & Well with Tracy (“this site”, “we”) is run by Tracy Elsinger. By creating an account or buying a plan you agree to these terms and to the Privacy & Security Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the parts of the site that need an account.
Not medical advice
Everything on this site, including recipes, guides, the Food Journal, the Sensitivity Tracker, AI analyses and the Summary for My Doctor, is for general information and personal record-keeping. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not an allergy test. Talk to your doctor or dietitian before changing your diet or treatment. If you have a severe reaction, call 911 or your local emergency number.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You must be 18 or older to buy a plan.
- One person per account. Family members can each have their own account and share through a household.
- Accounts that are not used for 12 months may be deleted after an email warning, as described in the privacy policy.
Plans and the free trial
The site has a free level and two paid plans, Base and Premium, each for one person or for a household. What each plan includes and what it costs is on the Plans page.
- Free trial — each account gets 30 days of Premium free, once. No card is needed, and nothing is charged when it ends: you simply move to the free level unless you choose a plan.
- Features can change — we may improve, add or remove features. If we remove something that is a main part of a paid plan, we will tell you and you can cancel.
Billing and renewal
- Payments are taken by Stripe. You pay on Stripe's checkout page; the site never sees your card details.
- Plans renew automatically each month or each year, depending on what you chose, and are charged at the start of each period until you cancel.
- Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added where it applies.
- If you switch plans (for example Base to Premium, or monthly to yearly), Stripe works out the difference for the rest of the current period and charges or credits it straight away.
- Price changes — we will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan. It starts at your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel at any time from Manage billing on your Billing page. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, and then it stops. You won't be charged again.
- No refunds for part of a period. We don't refund the unused part of a month or a year, except where the law requires it.
- If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us and we will look into it.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe emails you and tries again over the following weeks. Your plan keeps working while it does. If every attempt fails, the plan is cancelled and your account moves to the free level. You can update your card at any time in Manage billing.
Household plans
- A household plan covers everyone in the household, up to 8 people.
- The household's owner buys, changes and cancels it, and is the one charged. Members can't change the plan.
- A member who also pays for a plan of their own keeps being charged for it until they cancel it. Their Billing page warns them when that happens.
- The owner can't delete the household or hand it over while a paid plan is active: cancel it first.
When a plan ends
When a trial or paid plan ends, nothing you saved is deleted. You can still see it and delete it, but adding and changing things that need a plan becomes read-only until you choose a plan again.
AI features
- Some features use AI (Anthropic's Claude). AI can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important, and never rely on it for medical decisions.
- To keep costs fair, AI use has a monthly limit for each person and for each household plan. If you reach it, AI features pause until the next month; everything else keeps working.
- How your data is handled when you use AI is described in the privacy policy.
Your content and conduct
- What you keep privately (journal entries, private recipes, saved products) stays yours. We only use it to run the features you use.
- When you submit a recipe, blog post, review or comment for publishing, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you allow us to publish, edit for length or clarity, and display it on this site. You can ask for it to be removed.
- Don't post anything unlawful, hateful or misleading, other people's private information, or advertising. Don't try to break, overload or get around the site's security or usage limits.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for paid plans, we will email you before it applies. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Warranties and liability
The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but can't promise it will always be error-free or online. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States.
